At "The Harvest" we teach and believe in the basic principles and fundamentals of salvation and obedience to God's word. In scripture, we find God's word telling us to repent and be baptized for the remission of our sins. The same passage of the Bible also tells us that everyone who desires and is ready, can and will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)

The bible also refers to baptism as an operation. It's a simple process powered by God that instantly eradicates and washes away any record or trace of sin and wrong-doing. Repentance is simply turning away and God says that he will forgive you. But what happens when you are baptized is that the water cleanses you from all uncleanness of the past. Some don't believe that baptism is necessary, but here at "The Harvest" we are followers of Christ. If Jesus (who was perfect and without sin) got baptized, then who are we to think that we can bypass the water? He leads...we follow!

Baptism is the most amazing experience when you consider what actually occurs. When you come out of the water, you're brand new...so fresh and so clean!
