Welcome to "The Harvest". We invite you to browse our site and get to know a little about us. Although the Harvest Online Encounter is awesome, extremely informative and loaded with benefits, there's only so much that your online visit can give you. That's why we encourage you to come and visit to get a real "feel" of who we are and what we're about.
As a first time visitor to "The Harvest" we ask one thing of you...RELAX. You will be among friends and people who love you and are non-judgmental. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that displays the love, strength, unity, hope, and VICTORY of Christian living. This is what we refer to as "The Harvest Experience." Whether you're single or married, a teen or college student, man or woman - HCC is a place where you will be welcomed with open arms.
Much of what you'll want to know is found here in our site. Here are a few answers to some of your questions.
Q - Is there a dress code?
A - There is absolutely no attire criteria for entry into God's house. NEVER...EVER let your clothes (or lack thereof) dictate whether or not you attend church! Come as you are, but you won't leave the same way you came.
Q - Is your Pastor a woman?
A - Yes, and she's God's chosen leader for this church. We teach and believe in equal opportunity ministry. Gifting, talents, and callings are not gender-based. So, neither is a ministerial office. Pastor Zanetta is a very gifted and capable leader who demonstrates the attributes of an ideal shepherd and Pastor. She leads this flock with wisdom, love, compassion and sound, biblical teaching.
Q - I like what I've read about your vision. How can I help?
A - In order to participate in any ministry or auxiliary at HCC, you must first be a Harvest member. In addition, you will be asked to participate in the Starting Point class and new member orientation, to learn more about our vision, values, and beliefs. After successful completion our your New Member orientation, you are invited to begin hands-on training in our Internship Program.
Q - I'm interested in becoming a member but I still have issues in my life. What do I do?
A - We all have issues and you CANNOT clean or change yourself. That is God's job. All he needs is your will and your heart. Just get here and God will do the rest. Take control of any doubt, hesitation, and double-mindedness and simply MAKE A CHOICE! It's easy ...don't make it harder for yourself than it has to be. You'll gain the strength you need...GUARANTEED! You'll be so glad you did!
